World’s Biggest Pub Quiz in North Norfolk

The Lodge, Old Hunstanton, is to host The World’s Biggest Pub Quiz on Friday 8th March.

The event, which is organised by PubAid to help raise money for Prostate Cancer UK, is in its fourth year and has already generated £405,000 for charity.

The Lodge is one of more than 1,600 pubs around the UK who have pledged their support to the event in 2019. Entry is £10 per team, with a maximum of four participants, with the quiz set to start at 8pm.

“This is the second year that The Lodge has taken part in The World’s Biggest Pub Quiz,” says manager Brittany Taberner, “and we are looking forward to a fantastic night. There are some fantastic teams signed-up to take part, many of whom regularly drink at The Lodge, so I think there will be plenty of friendly competition between them. However, the event is open to everyone and we hope local league quiz teams will get involved in the evening and increase the competition while helping to raise money for this worthwhile charity.”

Alongside the quiz, the event will include a raffle with tickets sold on the night to win a range of prizes donated by local businesses. Anyone who would like to register a team for The Lodge’s World’s Biggest Pub Quiz should call 01485 532896.

A fabulous venue and an excellent charity to support, it’s time to get your teams together.
