The Redwings’ Horse Sanctuary & Visitor Centre in North Norfolk opened 7 years ago. Situated in idyllic countryside just 12 miles from the centre of Norwich, it is home to 50 rescued horses, ponies, and donkeys.

Visitors can help support the work of Redwings, during these challenging times, by sponsoring one of the charity’s adorable Adoption Stars, ideal as a thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one. A year’s adoption starts from just £15! Redwings Aylsham is home to some of the charity’s most charming Adoption Stars, including the stunning real-life Black Beauty  Maya, cheeky donkey duo Wiggins and Wacko, and Redwings’ notorious herd of Shetlands, known collectively as ‘The Gangsters’. Please ask a staff member about this during your visit and they will be happy to assist you.

It really is a lovely day out for the whole family and as entry is completely free, it’s an experience not to be missed.

Most paddocks are accessible, although some pathways may be difficult to navigate in adverse weather conditions or due to the one way system currently in place. The wildlife walks are also primarily grass track. There is a fully accessible purpose built visitor reception and stable facility, where ponies can be brought in and groomed.

FREE entry and parking. There are two Blue Badge parking spaces.
