The RSPB's most visited reserve and an excellent opportunity to observe many species including the rare wader and the RSPB's emblem bird, the avocet.

Three hides and several trails as well as shop and cafe.

Entry is free but parking is £4 (free to RSPB members).

Visitor Centre and shop open every day Apr-Oct 9.30am-5pm, Nov-Mar 9.30am-4pm. Closed 25 and 26 Dec.

Selected by the Crafts Council for the National List of Craft Shops & Galleries and with a stock of work by over 200 artists as well as regular exhibitions throughout the year.

Open Mon-Sat 9am-5pm. Bank Holidays 10am-4pm. Closed on Sun. Entry is free.

 

 

Binham Priory.

Binham, Norfolk (on road off the B1388).

Ruins of an 11th century Benedictine Priory that was founded by the nephew of William the Conqueror. A peaceful place to sit and reflect or enjoy a picnic, the Priory is also said to feature a resident ghostly monk.

Open all year round. Entry is free.

Wonderful destination showcasing the work of local and national artists and designers in their studio environment.

With on-site café and the abbey ruins to explore, the Studios are worth allowing plenty of time to enjoy.

Open Tues-Sun (& Bank Holiday Mondays) 11am-5pm. Free Admission. Ample parking.
