Valentine’s at Titchwell Manor
If oysters be the food of love, get set for sparks to fly this Valentine’s with Titchwell Manor’s weekend getaway package. For £350 guests can ignite their passion with an oyster masterclass, sensory dinner and overnight stay.
Be enchanted by the favourite aphrodisiac, oysters, with a masterclass and tasting covering everything from how to shuck the shell to creating the best flavour combinations to really bring desires alive. For oyster novices, try fried with hot and sour dashi or, for the more experienced connoisseur, appreciate straight from the shell with pink grapefruit and cucumber.
Butterflies will continue as couples sit down to a five course sensory menu. Enjoy such dishes as Diver Scallops with caviar and white chocolate or roasted avocado, potato gnocchi and burnt onion.
As darkness descends, couples will disappear to their rooms where a hot bath with candles; rose petals strewn on the bed; and a bottle of champagne will be awaiting each love-struck couple.
Titchwell Manor is perfectly located for exploring Brancaster, Burnham Market and Holkham, taking in the rich diversity of flora and fauna on the RSPB Titchwell Nature Reserve or simply enjoying a spot of golf at the championship courses nearby. It offers exceptional luxury and quality without sacrificing the charm of its family-run pedigree. A 3-star hotel, it feels 5-star on every level, recently receiving the East of England Tourism Award Best Hotel of the Year Award for East Anglia under 50 Bedrooms.
