In the BloominGorgeous shop at Burnham Market you will find beautiful flowers, unusual plants, handmade cards and gifts from around the world. Friendly, fully trained staff are always on hand to advise and help you choose from a large range of flowers and plants.
BloominGorgeous considers themselves very lucky to have their florist shop within a beautiful old building, full of character and style. They extend an invitation for you to join them for a while and relax in beautiful surroundings with a piece of delicious, homemade cake and a cup of tea or coffee. There is one large table upstairs where you can see Owner Andrea St. Quintin and her team at work with flowers and plants, or two smaller tables downstairs. There is a large customer car park at the rear, so parking is never a problem.
BloominGorgeous’ work can be seen throughout many hotels and businesses in the North Norfolk area, on table, bars, receptions and in guest bedrooms.
Whilst BloominGorgeous uses some local growers, the rural/coastal location means that they often have to go further afield for their stock. Being years ahead in floral design, Holland, Belgium and Germany are their preferred destinations, where Andrea can keep abreast of all the latest floral trends and designs.
Andrea and Janine have been very busy since the relocation of the shop in March 2010. Both have invested time and money in training as Balloon Artists, creating stunning designs for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings and parties. Corporate events can be dramatically enhanced with balloon arrangements and designs in corporate colours. Andrea has spent a very hectic and enjoyable 9 months working alongside Wally Klett, a German Master Florist, learning how to create her stunning wedding designs. Andrea qualified at the highest level, achieving the highest mark ever awarded to a Wally Klett student.
2011 saw the successful introduction of workshops, courses and demonstrations, so keep an eye on the BloominGorgeous website for upcoming dates and times. Most will all be held at the Burnham Market shop and will vary from morning, afternoon and evening, with possibly a couple of all day ones. The content and subject will vary in order to attract all ages and all abilities. Come along and see why Andrea and her team are besotted with flowers.

Wine-lovers everywhere – whether you are a dedicated connoisseur or simply looking for a bottle to accompany your food – will be delighted with the impressive selection of wines on offer at specialist wine shop Satchells of Burnham Market.
Try, for example (and while stocks last!) the Clos du Chateau (Chateau de Meursault). Satchells are the only wine merchant in the UK to have this astonishingly rich and creamy wine.
Or for ‘everyday’ drinking, take home a bottle of ‘Maxwell’s Claret’. Named after Satchells’ owner, Max Graham-Wood, this wine is from the superb 2009 vintage and a bargain at £8.99 a bottle.

The White House is located in the pretty coastal village of Burnham Overy Town. Burnham Overy lies only 1 mile from North-Norfolk-retreat-for-the-rich-and-famous, Burnham Market, 2 miles from beautiful Holkham and 1 mile from Burnham Thorpe, birthplace of Lord Nelson.
A stunning and spacious 250-year-old house, with original features, including exposed beams throughout, you couldn’t ask for a better base for your break in North Norfolk. Sleeping up to 8 people, and welcoming dogs, it is perfect for both smaller groups and family getaways.
The ground floor features an open kitchen/dining room, two sitting rooms – one with a wood burner, one with a large LCD TV and DVD player, books and games (perfect if you’re travelling with children – one room for them, one for you!), a twin bedroom, a shower room and a small utility room.
The second floor has a further three bedrooms: two double (one en-suite with shower over bath) and a twin room and a family bathroom. All of the bedrooms have plenty of storage space with drawers, shelves and wardrobes.
Tastefully furnished throughout, The White House offers a really nice home-from-home stay in a superb location on the North Norfolk Coast. Large enough to accommodate families with ease, we can imagine it bustling with laughter after a day at the beach or beside the wood burner on chilly winter evenings. We’ve no doubt at all that memories of family holidays taken here would last for a lifetime.
Outside, there is off-road parking for 2-3 cars and a pretty walled courtyard garden.
