Opened in early 2007, b-fair is a new breed of boutique. Chic of interior and stocking all manner of covetable goodies from clothing (for him and for her) to skincare products to jewellery to home ware, the distinction lies in the fact that all goods sold here are fairly traded. This means that the producers were remunerated reasonably and that natural, organic materials are used wherever possible. The products are also of a quality high enough to ensure longevity, so that, hopefully, they won’t end up in landfill.
Situated in the charming (and somewhat up-and-coming) village of Little Walsingham, only miles from the North Norfolk coast, b-fair enables you to ‘shop green’ while also indulging your desire for stylish products that don’t easily belie their secret eco-friendly merit.
Stocking a variety of both classic and on-trend clothes for men and women (including fabulous fair-trade jeans – very hard to come by we’re reliably informed), footwear, accessories and gift items, b-fair is worth a visit not only for its green values but simply because it is a fabulous little boutique where you’ll find an array of gorgeous objects that, thanks to the owners’ dedicated sourcing, you’re unlikely to find easily elsewhere.
