Online and in the delightful Georgian Market Town of Holt, Bird Ventures is a unique outlet for all things related to the study and encouragement of wildlife.
Opened in 2003 by Owners Paul Laurie and Julie May, the Bird Ventures philosophy is to ‘help you to help our wildlife’. Both dedicated naturalists, Paul and Julie are perfectly placed to offer advice and help on all aspects of wildlife gardening and will be happy to answer any questions that you might have. Paul is also an expert Bird Watcher, leading bird watching tours throughout the year and also studies moths, butterflies and dragonflies.
Ideal if you are looking for an unusual gift for someone interested in nature, bird watching or wildlife, or if you want to encourage more wildlife into your own back garden, Bird Ventures stocks specialist products including Dormice and Hedgehog Homes, Nest Box cameras, Wildlife food, Identification charts and Wild Flower seed mixes.
Many of the items stocked by Bird Ventures support Nature Reserves, sustainable woodland and local businesses.
The Bird Ventures website (and online shop) also features fascinating tips about subjects such as keeping your bird tables and feeders clean to attracting butterflies into your garden.
