A hotel in a very special location with a very special purpose…

Built in 1863, Park House, on the Sandringham Royal Estate in Norfolk was once home to the Spencer family and Diana, Princess of Wales was born there. Now a hotel, it exists to offer high quality holidays and short breaks for disabled people and their carers.

Unique to the UK, Park House has everything to ensure that people with special care requirements can enjoy rest and relaxation without having to worry about issues concerning accessibility or assistance.

Situated in rolling parkland, Park House has 16 spacious en-suite bedrooms (8 single and 8 twin), all with the facilities and creature comforts you’d expect from a good hotel such as television, radio, and tea/coffee making facilities. Uniquely, the rooms are also fully equipped with ramps, hoists, rails etc., meaning that physical disability is no barrier to enjoying your stay.

The hotel itself has been fully equipped throughout to the highest standards; lifts, ramps and automatic doors offer excellent wheelchair access. There are spacious public rooms, including a well-stocked library (with large print/talking books), Internet access, an outside swimming pool and on-site restaurant and bar. Registered nurses and care staff are on duty 24 hours a day offering as little or as much assistance as you need.

Inside, the atmosphere is happy, relaxed and welcoming – a fact echoed by the numerous awards that Park House has won, including previously the ‘Customer Care’ award at the Norfolk Tourism Awards.
