New Year’s Eve
Join the team at The Grove for a relaxed and classy evening as they see in the New Year. No discos, DJs or dancing, just amazing food and great company in their Georgian dining rooms.
We’ll have a superb live jazz and swing band playing throughout the night, four courses of the finest food Charlie can muster, and the chance to put your gladrags in the best 1930s style and dance the night away with us.
We look forward to seeing you all!
When you walk through the garden before dinner and see the fruit and vegetables still growing, you know your food will be fresh. Head Chef Charlie Hodson ensures that The Grove Restaurant in Cromer serves as much of its own home-grown produce as possible. Ingredients they can’t provide themselves, like meat, fish and dairy, they source locally so that you can enjoy the freshest and tastiest of Norfolk fare, along with wines handpicked by Peter Graham of Norwich.
You can enjoy it all in the beautiful surroundings of a Georgian country house, open to guests since 1936 and still run by the same family. As well as the dining rooms and outside seating areas, diners are welcome to make use of the lounge, conservatory and gardens. The indoor swimming pool is even available to relax in before and after your meal.
The Grove is the ideal setting for functions and special occasions and, if you’d like to stay longer than just an afternoon or evening, they have ten individually styled en-suite bedrooms and six self-catering cottages to choose from.
Set back from the road and just ten minutes walk from Cromer town centre, The Grove is perfectly located. There is plenty of parking space, or you can reach the garden by foot along the cliff path and through Warren Woods.
The restaurant at the Grove has recently been awarded a prestigious AA Dinner Award.
