The Grove

New Summer Menu at The Grove.

This season, The Grove have continued their aim of locally sourcing food; and have focussed this even more by using their abundant garden as a starting point for a lot of the dishes. There are also plenty of dishes on the menu from the North Sea – North Sea Mackerel mousse, John Davies’ Cromer lobster, as well as chicken from Hevingham, pork, Wood Pigeon, Norfolk beef & cheese…
As always, there are some fabulous sounding deserts too – Burnt orange chocolate fondant, Garden gooseberry snap…
All finished off with a Matthew Algie ‘Elevator’ Triple-certified 100% Fairtrade Espresso coffee.

Sunday is the new Saturday Offer.

£145 for DBB for two people (sharing) on Sunday nights. This includes breakfast in bed, late check out, a newspaper and a bottle of prosecco on arrival.

Marvellous.

When you walk through the garden before dinner and see the fruit and vegetables still growing, you know your food will be fresh.

Head Chef Michael ensures that the 2 AA Rosette Grove Restaurant in Cromer serves as much of its own home-grown produce as possible. Ingredients they can’t provide themselves, like meat, fish and dairy, they source locally so that you can enjoy the freshest and tastiest of Norfolk fare, along with wines handpicked by Peter Graham of Norwich.

You can enjoy it all in the beautiful surroundings of a Georgian country house, open to guests since 1936 and still run by the same family. As well as the dining rooms and outside seating areas, diners are welcome to make use of the lounge, conservatory and gardens. The indoor swimming pool is even available to relax in before and after your meal.

The Grove in Cromer is the ideal setting for functions and special occasions and, if you’d like to stay longer than just an afternoon or evening, they have ten individually styled en-suite bedrooms and six self-catering cottages to choose from.

Set back from the road and just ten minutes walk from Cromer town centre, The Grove is perfectly located. There is plenty of parking space, or you can reach the garden by foot along the cliff path and through Warren Woods.

The restaurant at the Grove also holds a prestigious AA Dinner Award.

Open daily for breakfast, lunch 12-2pm, and for dinner 6-9pm. See the A la Carte Menu.

Afternoon Tea at The Grove is a truly special occasion. Served 2:30-4:30pm Monday to Saturday, £11.50 per person. Flowering Jasmine Afternoon Tea £12.50 per person or Sparkling Afternoon Tea (with two glasses of Prosecco to accompany their afternoon tea experience) £19.95 per person.

Open for Sunday Lunch (one of the best in Norfolk, some say) 12noon-2.30pm every weekend. See the Sunday Lunch Menu.
