The Rose and Crown at Snettisham is a multi-award winning 14th Century Inn that boasts the quality and style of a chic, 21st Century establishment. Recent accolades include Family Friendly Pub of the Year 2007 - The Publican Awards, Pub Restaurant of the Year Award 2006 - Eastern Daily Press and the Food From Britain Award 2005 - PubChef Magazine.
Maintained through an intrinsic love of food, The Rose and Crown serves traditional English pub classics like Cumberland Sausages with Celeriac Mash, intermingled with more exotic dishes such as King Prawn Thai Red Curry with Lime and Coconut Rice. Vegetarians are more than well catered for with some mouth-watering non-meat options and Under 12s have their own menu, designed to appeal especially to hungry children. All menus change on a regular basis.
As far as is possible, all ingredients are sourced locally (fish is delivered daily from King’s Lynn and Lowestoft; Beef is from Howells of Wells, from cattle grazed on the salt marches at Holkham) and all poultry is free range.
To accompany and complete your dining experience, The Rose and Crown offers some irresistible desserts and a wide selection of wines and other tipples.
You can choose to eat in any of the three dining rooms available in the character-drenched Inn or in the bar areas. On sunny days, you can sit and eat outside in the walled garden (complete with wooden play fort).
