Situated on the A149 coast road in the pretty village of Thornham, The Orange Tree Bar & Restaurant successfully unites relaxed, flexible dining with exceptional service and fantastic fare.
From the outside, The Orange Tree could be a traditional country public house, complete with two large beer gardens, a children’s play area and ample parking. The interior has been refurbished to offer a stylish, comfortable experience in drinking and dining that is a touch of rustic French-bistro with contemporary highlights.
A Classic Bar menu is available alongside a seasonal menu and both incorporate all the best local seafood, meat and fresh salad and vegetables. Children have their own menu and vegetarians are catered for. In keeping with the accommodating philosophy, you can choose to take your meal anywhere you want – in the bar area, the restaurant, or outside if the weather is kind, and select across both menus to suit your tastes. The desserts are creative and delicious to both the eye and the taste buds and there is a healthy selection of wines to complete your experience.
The Orange Tree restaurant is available for hire for functions and parties, and catering can be provided for up to 48 guests (more for a buffet).
Afterwards, you can adjourn to the bar for a nightcap and if you really want to make a night of it, The Orange Tree offers bed & breakfast accommodation in a comfortable courtyard annexe at the back.
Sunday Lunch is served on Sun 12noon-6pm.
