Only three miles from the seaside resort of Cromer, this long-standing village Ale House, whose name nods to the foundry for which Northrepps was once famed, offers a wonderful ‘proper traditional pub’ experience.
Reopened in 2006 as a family-run freehouse, The Foundry Arms offers everything you’d expect and more from an unspoilt Norfolk local. It has two bars, a dining room and a games room (complete with Pool table and dartboard). In the winter, a wood-burning stove inspires a festive, welcoming glow inside, while a small beer garden is just the job for the summer months.
The Foundry Arms boasts a well stocked bar, offering everything from real ales (Greene King IPA, Woodforde’s Wherry from the Polypin plus a regularly changing Guest Ale) to wines by the glass. The Pub serves very good freshly prepared food throughout the week, which you can choose to take in the cosy bar area or the dining room that has more of a ‘country restaurant’ feel to it.
Open Mon-Thur 11.30am-3pm & 6pm-Close. Lunch served 12noon-3pm.
Evening meals served 6.30pm-9pm. No food on Mondays.
Open all day Fri-Sun. Food served 11.30am-Close, except on Sun when food is served over lunchtime only.
