An extremely popular haunt for locals, campers, walkers and holidaymakers alike, Deepdale Café successfully combines a relaxed vibe reminiscent of a beach-side coffee bar with the quality fare and service you’d expect from a far more formal establishment.
Situated on the A149 coast road between Burnham Overy Staithe and Brancaster Staithe, among a well thought-out cluster of interesting businesses on the ‘Dalegate’ site, the café is perfectly positioned for refreshment when exploring the North Norfolk coast or surrounding villages such as the Burnhams.
The Café offers a more than adequate selection of coffees, teas, juices and soft drinks and being fully licensed, you can relax with a local alcoholic tipple such as Adnams beer or Whin Hill Cider (from nearby Wells-next-the-Sea) or a wine or beer from further a field. If you’d prefer you could even bring your own favourite wine to enjoy with your meal (£2 corkage charge applies).
For a post-lunch pick-me-up, Deepdale Café provides Afternoon Tea with a selection of little sandwiches and homemade cakes served with a pot of tea ofr coffee in fine china (as tradition dictates!).
Food-wise, portions are reasonably priced and plentiful with delicious options for breakfast, lunch and throughout the day (including veggie, children’s and diet-conscious options).
Ideal for families, couples, the young and old, Deepdale Café is a fabulous, unpretentious place to meet, relax and recharge that is bound to satisfy even the choosiest patron.
